My Final Essay

Art Appreciation analyzes art using the methods and materials, allowing people
to make connections to the context of art and the interactions of societies. It is difficult to
understand the art without understanding the culture. The different types of art are
painting, sculpture, architecture, impressionism, abstract art, drawing, expressionism,
contemporary art, abstract expressionism, dance, theater, and singing. Upon
understanding and appreciating the different arts in different eras, movements, styles
and techniques we can develop, evaluate and improve our own work.
The importance of art appreciation especially in digital age is that it provides us
a wide range of techniques and styles that enable us to create a creative and innovative
art. Technology influenced us the way we create and it help us to easily connect and
gain inspiration from other people. It allow us to express something that we ourselves
feel that we cannot convey to other people in personal, other than that from the piece
that we created it could reach a wide audiences through technology which could evoke
feeling of joy, sadness, anger, and pain.
Art appreciation open up the perspective and beliefs of the people by watching
and listening the artworks of others and it encourages conversation and understanding
the diverse perspective and interpretation of the art. Technology provide us the means
to collect and organize information that help us to develop new forms and strategies in
making distinctive works of art. It is important to promote art in every school most
especially in digital era as it help the young ones to give importance and value the art in
how it appeals and what it means for us as a person. Every perspective of people would
possibly change upon interpreting the art of someone, arts serves as the open window
to the artist’s life which it provokes an individual to look on it.
I learned that art appreciation is already part of our lives which allow us to
express and convey our thoughts and ideas in many ways. It helps us to develop a lot of
skills, most especially in digital era where there are so much of sources that we can
collect and create an innovative and creative piece. Technology aims to reach a large
coverage of audiences or artists that enable us to connect and be inspired by their
works in which we can gain a lot of useful strategy from in improving our works. The
best thing in artworks is that aside from our differences we would be able to connect to
them through arts and have different ideas on a particular arts but have the same
interest.
