I express a deep appreciation to Almighty God for writing this great Report.

My appreciation goes to my favorite Parent Mr. and Mrs. ODUSOTE and to all my lecturers at

Science Laboratory Technology Department to all the staff of PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER

for their supports and leadership in making this SIWES a success.

ABSTRACT

This SIWES is aimed at developing ND students’ practical skills. The exercise brings the

student to the outside world (labour market), where they are exposed to different practical

activities related to their field where they are taught various skills imparted

psychologically, morally, academically, giving them everything it takes to make them

capable to be on the job they are made to face the heat of the real world under supervisors

who know how to do their jobs in order to learn from them and gain insight to improve

their technical understanding of their field.

SECTION FOUR
4.1 CONCLUSION
The SIWES is very valuable and essential in the field of science laboratory

technology. It exposes student to necessary practical experience to complement their

course of study in the institution and serve as the bridge between the theory of four walls

of the lecture room and the industrial practical. This serves as a good training and

preparation for future career.

4.2 RECOMMENDATION

My recommendation to the institution and the student industrial work experience

scheme (SIWES) program coordinators are:

 Student should abide by the rules and regulations of the institution.

 The institution should expose the student to the full practical aspect of the various

course of study.

 The SIWES coordinator should ensure the student observe the program by paying

them a visit.

 The institution should give a little token to encourage SIWES student.
