Special Lecture on UN Human Rights Council, Joint State Initiatives and E-Commerce

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, organised special lecture on UN Human
Rights Council. Mr. Yashasvi Nain, Expert, Human Rights, Permanent Delegation of
Commonwealth to UN, Geneva discussed the functioning of International Human Rights
Council. He also delved into the Universal Periodic Review. Mr. Rishab Raturi, Expert, E-
commerce and Trade, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, talked about JSI
Negotiations and E-Commerce. Discussing the genesis of Joint State Initiatives (JSI), Mr.
Raturi dealt with issues related to world trading system. He also spoke about trade and digital
security concerns.
