1. Average
⨊𝑓𝑖𝑋𝑖 297
Average of the grouped data = =
𝑛 150
X = 1.98

2. Median

75−52
Median = 1.6 + ( ) ∗ 0.5 = 1.99655
29
3. Modal Cell of Data
The cell with boundaries 1.1-1.5 represents the modal cell on the given data due to
highest frequency value which is 34.

4. Standard Deviation
Standard deviation for the grouped data can be calculated by

√(150∗684.7)−(2972 )
S=
150∗149

Standard Deviation = 0.80535

5. Skewness
Skewness is a number whose size tells us the extent of the departure from symmetry.

a3 = ( 9.9396 / 150 ) / 0.80535 3

Skewness = 0.126856

6. Kurtosis
Kurtosis is a dimensionless value that is used as a measure of the height of the peak
in a distribution.
A4 = ( 138.024208 / 150 ) / 0.80535 4

Kurtosis = 2.1874

7. Coefficient of Variation
It is a measure of how much variation exists in relation to the mean.

0.80535
CV = ∗ 100
1.98

CV = 40.6742 %

8. Analysis
From the above data we can say that the data is not normally distributed
