Genesys—Wipro Technologies (Client – Michelin)

Description: The Genesys application is intended to facilitate the day-to-day work of career managers by providing them
information that is easy to access, reliable due to the fact that it can be regularly updated and available on-the-go when
using a laptop that is not always hooked up to the network.
There are three classes of information in Genesys:
•Information sourced from Chorus: the fields cannot be modified in Genesys.
•Information sourced from the local PC and entered by the career manager. This data has no counterpart in CHORUS
and exists only in the PC. It is backed up in the Genesys central database each time the Gestionnaire synchronizes. The
fields are modifiable.
•Information which is hidden by Genesys security. In this case fields on the local screen are blank.
When entering comments, or providing attachments, it should be recalled that a number of countries have laws that
very strictly govern this information. Only information that can be shown to the person or manager involved and is
defensible should be entered.
Each Genesys user has a defined population of employees that he/she can see. The visible population can be a mixture
of employees that the manager can view, and those that he can modify
