SYNOPSIS

1. PROBLEM DEFINITION:
In the existing Store Management System departmental store
management system, most of the work is completed manually by using
paper records. It is a place where we get all our daily use basic
requirement products. This is one of the difficult job to administrate.
Most of these jobs are done manually. This includes many drawbacks-

o Increases the paper work


o Time consuming
o Loss of information
o Security issues
o Lack of integrated resources
o Data duplication

2. OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this online project is to organize the transaction of
a particular store. This project is all about the maintenance of record of a
store where any kind of product is sold out. It keep records of all type of
selling products available in the store. Not only products but also keep
records of available stock and purchased goods. This project keeps
information about the owner and some information about the employee
to make the system more stable.

3. FEASIBILITY STUDY:
The computerization of this system would avoid the wrong interpretation
and bad calculation of data. The system help the user to see any
documents, source code, tasks, activities, team information with details
at the click of a button. The record data is maintained and backed up
such a way that data is not loss. The speed of the system could also
increase. The system is also--
o User friendly
o Easy to modify the details
o Less paper work
o Human and manual work reduced
o Automated reporting

4. METHEDOLOGY:
Store Management System automates the job of owner of the
store. It mainly includes two members:
1. Owner/Admin
2. Employee
Store Management System has 7 module:
1. Login
2. Home
3. Purchase Product
4. Sale product
5. Stock
6. Employees Details
7. Registration

 Login module:
Login module will help in authentication of user
accounts. Users who have valid login id and
password can only login into their respective
accounts.

 Home :
Store Management System maintains the sale and
purchase record from which latest five entries from
both sale and purchase record will be displayed to the
user in this module.
 Sale Record:
In Sale Record, the users are allowed to enters the
details of the sale made. The users has to enters the
details of the sale made such as price, units, etc. The
user just has to select the product he wants to sale and
enters minimum details to make a sale record. All the
record of sale will be displayed in this module.

 Purchase Record:
In Purchase Record, the users are allowed to enters the
details of the products the user has purchased. The
users has to enters the details of the purchase made
such as price, units, etc to create a record. The user just
has to select the product he wants to purchase and
enter minimum details to make a purchase record. All
the record of purchase will be displayed in this module.

 Stock:
Stock is the most important module of Store
Management System. This module will maintain the
details of all the available stocks. It is maintained
through a sale and purchase record made by the users.
Stock will be automatically maintained by the system
and this module will also show the profit or loss earned
on a particular product.

 Employees Details:
One of the purpose of this project is to maintain details
of the employees such as storing information about:
 Employee ID
 Employee Name
 Contact Number
 Address
 Job Title
 Username

 Registration Module:
This module will help the admin/employees get registered
from anytime. This module can be used to create, edit, and
delete products from the system. The users can change
their business name and logout from the system. Whole
lists of products will also be listed in this module.
