Hi

I read your discussion regarding the concept of learned needs theory. The learned needs

theory states three categories of needs which may be reinforced or diminished by strengthening,

learning, and social situations. Individuals with a high s for accomplishment need their efforts to

be noticed in order to feel accomplished, with feedback or recognition being a more important

motivator than money (Chinn, 2022). Optimism, ambition, a true desire for success, hard effort,

competition with oneself and others, intrinsically motivated to master tasks, and so on all

strongly relate with the urge for achievement. As a result, firms may consider these variables

while developing programs to improve the need for Achievement of their management team

(Jha, 2010). Positive feedback and acknowledgement from coworkers also drive me to strive for

greater accomplishments.
