Truth can often times be subjective to your position, perspective and

previous directives. That’s right my friends, not all truth was created
equal, especially in relationships.

This cartoon offers a simple yet powerful message about perspective

and point of view. Though the characters appear superficially
identical, they express different interpretations of a single object (the
numeral 6 or 9) based on their viewing location. The cartoon invites
the viewer to extend this idea of multiple perspectives into other
situations.

The real “Truth” is that our perspective of which we view things is

primarily shaped by our experiences, our environment and the people
who are in it. Therefore, it would be foolish to think that all we’ve
learned and see is truth with a capital “T”. Simply put: Your being
RIGHT does NOT automatically make the other person WRONG.

So, seeking first to understand before attempting to be understood

seems to be a great approach to resolving conflict. Adopting this
philosophy and maintaining an open mind can help you every time, or
at least more often than not.

Remember it’s never too late to adopt a new way and start Making it
GREAT!!!
