Reflection in Doctrines and Discipline

A sound doctrine is so important like what is written in the book of Titus 2:1-15. As part of the
church, I wanted to know what was necessary to learn and what is to obey. And the doctrines will
provide us with knowledge of why as a part of the Body of Christ have to submit to the doctrines
and discipline of the church. Having a sound doctrine helps the faith community to come to
Christ full submission after all that we are believing is what we are going to do.

Our Doctrine is our guide in everything a Christian. We traverse in this world with the help of it.
In doctrine also comes the meeting of a mind of its entire membership. We cannot deny that even
we have taught the doctrine diligently to our members there is always somebody that will
sometimes go against it and discipline is the answer to that. Disciplines to me undergird our
doctrines with a goal to strengthen the people’s faith and belief and restore what had been
destroyed and unite what had been divided.

The church discipline will make sure that our teachings are followed diligently regardless if we
as the Body of Christ are happy with that doctrine. There must be something that we must give
up to achieve orderliness in the church. And our doctrine and discipline will always go hand and
hand in working inside the church.
