Summary

Linguistic is the science that studies language, it has several branches, among
which are phonetics and phonology.

Phonetics includes the study of the sounds of human beings, this is based on
three parts: in the physical part, in the auditory part and how these sounds are
perceived.

On the other hand, phonology includes the part of how these sounds are
organized and their meanings.

It can be said that phonetics is what phonology is based on for its field of study.
While phonetics analyzes the production of human language, phonology then
analyzes, determines, and explains how those sounds are interpreted by each
native of each language.

Phoneme: Minimum phonological unit that results from the abstraction or

theoretical description of the sounds of the language.

Morpheme: The smallest unit of language that has lexical or grammatical meaning
and cannot be divided into less significant units.

Allomorph: Variant of a morpheme that results from a linguistic context change

Grapheme: Minimum and indivisible unit of the writing of a language.
