To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Javier Cruz. Javier is currently a senior at El Capitan High
School. My impressions of Javier have always been positive, so I am pleased to be able to write
this letter as a way of helping him accomplish his goals.

As a student, Javier is hardworking, outgoing, and energetic. I am impressed with Javier’s

commitment to his school. He currently participates in Construction class at our school and has
obtained his DOL OSHA 10 Certification card. Javier’s educational goal is to become certified in
stick welding and become a SMAW Welder. I would also like to add that Javier is bilingual, and
speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

Javier is the type of student that will reach every goal that he sets for himself. I feel certain that
you will be just as impressed with him as I am. As a counselor who is committed to helping
