It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mr. Hunter Novak. I had the wonderful
opportunity to work with Hunter during his student teaching courses in the Mary Lou Fulton
Teachers College at Arizona State University. Hunter is a dedicated student and goes above and
beyond in his coursework. Even during the challenges of the pandemic, I observed growth as he
was very willing to adapt to the changing situations with ease. Hunter was very easy to work
with and got along well with all those he came into contact with.

Hunter knows the needs of his students and adjusts how he designs and delivers lessons
accordingly. He includes activities where students engage in learning math and make
connections to their own lives. This year was especially challenging due to fact that Hunter had
limited experience working face to face with students during his previous internships; however, I
believe that the experience has exceedingly prepared him to deliver the most effective lessons
possible. Hunter structures his instruction and activities in ways that engage students, involve
peer interaction, and induce curiosity through using technology tools.

Hunter has a love for teaching and learning and a desire to do his very best. He possesses a
strong work ethic, and is a team player who also works well independently. Importantly, Hunter
is amiable, courteous, respectful, and a pleasure to be around. He will be an excellent addition to
any institution that is fortunate enough to have him. As a teacher and administrator for more than
25 years and one who cares deeply about education and students, I recommend highly and
