To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter to recommend Hunter Novak. I have known Mr. Novak in the capacity of
mathematics professor for two years. He was enrolled and successfully completed difficult
coursework in a Mathematics Methods class which I taught at Arizona State University. I have
really gotten to know and enjoy Hunter, and I would endorse him as a secondary mathematics teacher
for many reasons. He has interned in the school system and applied teaching strategies he
learned in the teaching college with secondary school students.

Mr. Novak has integrity and enthusiasm, and the commitment it takes to be a great educator.
One thing that really jumps out to me about Hunter is his warmth and respectful kindness. He is
innovative in his teaching approach, and is committed to teaching students in an exciting and
challenging way with real world applications. Hunter has proven himself academically, making the
Dean’s list for the past 3 semesters . Hunter’s teaching experience includes working as a behavior
coach with at risk youth. This experience has made him very good at classroom management and
connecting with his students. Hunter’s patience and understanding make him a leader that the
students can count on. 

Commitment to excellence in the activities he pursues makes Mr. Novak a positive role model
for those around him. I highly recommend Mr. Novak as a candidate for your program. I
sincerely believe he will be a great success and an asset to your school.
