DIGITAL ASSIGNMENT: 5

SLOT: A2+TA2
SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP:

Recognizing social problems and creating social change via the use of entrepreneurial principles,
processes, and operations is what social entrepreneurship is all about. Entrepreneurs are
primarily affiliated with non-profit organizations and sectors. The primary goal of social
entrepreneurship is to build social capital rather than to make a profit or a monetary return. After
all, entrepreneurs require finance to continue the process and make a beneficial impact on
society. Individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs engage in social entrepreneurship by
developing and funding solutions that directly solve social challenges. As a result, a social
entrepreneur is someone who looks for business opportunities that benefit their neighbourhood,
society, or the planet.

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR:

A social entrepreneur is someone who seeks new applications with the potential to tackle
community-based issues. These people are willing to take the risk and put out the effort to make
a positive difference in society through their projects. Social entrepreneurs may believe that by
engaging in this practice, they would be able to connect with their life's purpose, assist others in
finding theirs, and make a positive impact on the world. Although most entrepreneurs are driven
by the prospect of making a profit, this does not preclude the average entrepreneur from making
a constructive contribution to society. A social entrepreneur may also strive to address inequities
in such availability, the underlying causes of social problems, or the social shame associated with
living in such communities.
