An original Origami Bonsai
sculpture both designed and hand
made by Pawtucket artist and
author Benjamin John Coleman ‐
exclusively for WRNI’s Mother’s Day
fundraiser.

‐Limited to 42 sculptures. Each sculpture is signed, dated and
numbered by the artist.
Origami Bonsai sculptures are made by hand entirely from
paper. Leaves and flowers are made from hand painted
squares of paper using the origami technique (origami means
“fold‐paper” in Japanese). Stems and fiddleheads are made
from pieces of newsprint using the makigami technique
(makigami means “roll‐paper” n Japanese). You can find
