Patient Care Assistant/ Student Nurse Extern June 2020 – Present
• Started off as a PCA and was promoted to a student nurse extern after 6 months. Rotated in the float pool on the following
units: Step down ICU, Intermediate/Telemetry, Medical surgical, Orthopedics and currently permeant on Mom/Baby unit.
• Provide all patient care, blood draws, catheterization, and vital signs. Assist and shadow nurses on head-to-toe assessments,
patient education, and medication pass.
