Statistician/Demographer - Subject matter expert for child well-being
and U.S. fertility statistics at the Census Bureau. Direct and
coordinate the technical and developmental work toward the collection
and analysis of statistics on families and households, with focus on
relevant topics such as marital status, fertility, children and
related issues. Provide subject matter guidance on the design of
computer based questionnaires, data processing, data evaluation, and
tabulation formats. Initiate and conduct research into measurement and
definitional problems relating to family statistics. Engage in
comparative studies of census data with other sources. Prepare regular
and special analytical and interpretative reports, monographs, and
papers for the Census Bureau, professional societies, and technical

changes in women's labor force participation. Created a data set from
the National Health Interview Survey and wrote a paper on gender
differences in time spent on family and work activities and

Research Analyst - Created and analyzed a data set from a survey of
health facilities in Guatemala. Used hierarchical logistical
regression modeling to explore the relationship between
characteristics of health facilities and the extent to which
Guatemalan women received pre-natal care and brought children to
