OFFICE ORDER NO. 56 /2022-PPC

The rationalization of the existing network of Prasar Bharati has already been
conveyed with a view to improve the administrative efficienry and for the optimal use of
administrative machinery vide this Secretariat's Office Order No. 2{5/2021-ppc dated
04.t0.202t.

2. With the approval of competent authority , now it has been decided to start their
operationalisation and control of establishments under them by the concerned Cluster
Heads, along with the following modifications /additions :-

i. "Head DD Hissar (Col. 7) with additional charge of AIR Hissar (Col. 6)" in Column No.
(4) of the Sl. No. 9 of the Table at Annexure is replaced with "Head DDK Chandigarh
(Col. 7), with additional charge of Head AIR Chandigarh (Col. 6)". Thus there be
Head Cluster at DDK Chandigarh instead of Head cluster DDK Hissar and it will be
controlling DDK Chandigarh, DDK Hissar, AIR Chandigarh, AIR,Hissar, AIR
Kurukshetra, AIR Ambala, AIR Rohtak & all l00W FM Transmitters.
ii. "Head AIR SPT Chinsura,(Col. 6) with additional charge of Head DD Shantiniketan
(Col. 7)" in Column No. (a) of Sl. No. 30 (3) is replaced with "Head AIR SpT
Chinsura".
iii."DDK/PGF Shantineketan" is withdrawn from Column No. 7 of Sl. No. 30(3) and
placed in Column No. 7 of Sl. No. 30(2) i.e pGF Shantiniketan will be under Head
Cluster DD Kolkata.
iv.AIR vadodara and AIR Brahmavar were erroneously omitted in original order and
same are now placed under the cluster Head AIR Ahmedabad under column 6 of sr
No 8(1) and under Head AIR Bangaloru under Sr No 13(1) column 6 respectively .
v' AIR Banda and AIR Raibareli have been put erroneously under both the Head AIR
varanasi and Head AIR Lucknow respectively. Both AIR Banda and AIR Raibareli are
now put under the control of Head AIR Lucknow under sr No 2B(1) column 6 and
these are deleted from Sr No 28(3) column 6.
vi.AIR Poonch was put under Head AIR srinagar under sr No 11(1) column 6, which is
now put under Head AIR lammu Sr No 11(3) column 6.

Accordingly all Cluster Heads will be Head of Office and controlling officer of the
staff and
offices in establishments under the concerned cluster w.e.f Rprit rst
,2022 as per ppc
order No. 2251202L-PP1 dated 04.10.2021 along with the a6ove modifications. The
arrangement of Budget and DDO etc., for cluster Head and its subordinate establishments
will remain unchanged till the decision is taken in this regard, if any. DG oo
