Lesson Plan in MAPEH 7

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
A. Identify agencies responsible for non-communicable disease prevention
and control
B. Appreciate the importance of agencies responsible for non-communicable
disease by participating actively in class discussion
C. Create images around the logo that shows their functions in the society

II. Subject Matter

A. Topic: Some agencies that provide health services
B. Materials: Visual aids, Pictures, Laptop, Projector
C. References: Physical Education & Health 7 Learning Materials
P. 401-411, Google, Youtube.
III. Procedure
A. Activities
-Opening Prayer
-Greetings
-Checking of attendance
-Checking of assignment
B. Review
C. Motivation
-The teacher will show a video about the agencies responsible for non-
communicable disease prevention and control and let the students to
observe.
D. Development of the lesson

1. Activity
-The teacher will group the students into 3 groups. The teacher will
give each group an envelope containing programs of agencies to be
discussed and to be presented in front of the class using a manila
paper. The teacher will give 5 minutes to finish their work.

2. Analysis
-The teacher will ask following questions:
1. Are you familiar with those kinds of program?
2. Have you already participate on those kinds of programs?

3. Abstraction
-The students will present their work with the guidance of teacher.

4. Application
-The teacher will ask following questions:
1. What are the benefits of these agencies in our community?
2. How will these agencies help you in preventing non-
communicable disease?
3. What if this agencies is not existing? What will you do to spread
awareness?
 IV. Evaluation
-With the same group, the teacher will give each group an assign logo of
agencies and they will create images around the logo that shows their
function in the society
Criteria:
Neatness- 10
Creativity- 10
Cooperation- 10
30 pts.
V. Assignment
-Answer this question in a ½ sheet of paper.
1. As a grade 7 student, what will be your contribution to the community to
lower down the potential risk of acquiring non-communicable disease?
