Howard Gerdner was an Education professor from Harvard, University He originally wanted to study law but he was influenced by Jean Piaget works so he started to study developmental psychology. He was also mentored by psychoanalytic Erik Erikson. He has written over 30 books. He ls most known for his theory of multiple intelligence. He believed that the conventional concept of intelligence was too narrow and 10 test would not be able to identify the other ‘intelligences’ a person has.
