PRAYER GUIDE

2022
 INTRODUCTION
Ohio for Jesus is an incredible plan for revival in Ohio, but it
will only happen if each one of us are seeking after God
fully. This prayer guide is to help us focus each day on the
Lord and open our hearts to what He is speaking.

Each week you will have one prayer prompt to give you a
direction and example of prayer for that week. You will
then have a passage of scripture to read as well, just one or
two chapters per day.

Together, we will read through the books of Genesis,

Exodus, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, Ezra,
Nehemiah, Esther, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah,
Haggai, John, Philippians and parts of Matthew and Luke.
This prayer and Bible reading plan is not about getting
through the reading, but rather letting the Word soak into
your soul and take root as you spend time talking with God
.
Take note that each prayer prompt aligns with a Key
Result Area of Ohio for Jesus. We want to cover each of
these areas in prayer and seek to incorporate them, not
only corporately, but personally. We don’t want these to
simply be things we read, or recite when together, but
rather a way of living and doing ministry every day.

Lord,
Thank You for Your constant direction and guidance
and for being my firm foundation. Give me vision to
accomplish what You have set before me. Help me
to create an environment where I am continually
helping others identify the gifts You’ve given them.
Open my eyes to those around me that I can
encourage. Just as You have used others to confirm
the call on my life, use me to identify and train other
leaders. Let my example be one of humble
confidence that shows others how great You are,
God. Use my leadership at home, in my work and in
every aspect of my life, as a catalyst of growth for
other believers. May what You’ve begun in me
continue for generations to come.

Lord,
Thank You for entrusting our Network with a college
campus to develop and train the next generation of
leaders. Guide the leaders and professors of SEU Ohio,
as they seek to provide the best education and
resources for our students possible. Give them fresh
vision, energy and continually renewed passion for this
ministry. Send the right students each year, so that
they can be prepared for what You have called them
to do. Continue to set SEU Ohio apart as an institution
that is filled with Your Spirit and that is known for
training leaders who are passionate about Christ,
regardless of their vocational field.

place where people can begin to explore their calling,

each person who attends be strengthened in the
confidence of their ministerial call. Continue to use this
ministry to train leaders as You call them into new or
greater ministry. Let this ministry be a catalyst for
development and growth in our network. Continue to
provide teachers as this ministry grows, so that we can
continue to grow the number of locations where
classes are held. Remove any barriers for students so
that we can see record-breaking attendance as people
are obedient to the call You’ve placed on their lives.

Lord,
There are open ministry positions all across the
state, we ask that You would provide the leaders
needed to fill those roles. Whether it is raising up
a leader who is already within in our Network, or
inviting someone from another state, bring the
right people into the right churches, so that we
can accomplish this great vision You’ve given us.
Let us not be hesitant to give those who are
younger, older, or different than us an
opportunity to use their gifts. Let us not cling to
what is familiar, simply because it is what we
know, but let us always be open and looking for
leaders who will bring fresh perspective into our
churches.

these ministry areas not be without the staff
that they need to minister. Let this be a

that ministry, even now. Let there be
incredible growth in our volunteer ministries,
as each church member fully embraces the
call to ministry you’ve placed on their life,
whether it is as a greeter, a kidmin worker, or
a call to pastoral or missional ministry.

Lord,

You are calling them into. Begin a work in those
communities that will prepare them for the
harvest You have ahead. Open hearts and minds
and set the stage for what You are going to do
through Your church. If You are calling me to lead
or support a church plant, open my eyes to that
call, and let it be something I cannot run from. If
You are not calling me to plant a church, show
me ways I can support those who are, through
prayer, finances, resources, coaching or other
ways You have uniquely prepared me to support.

Church planters aren't just pastors, they are
people called to be a part of a church You are
growing. Let that calling be evident to each
person You are calling to be a part of a church
plant in the next 9 years, as we continue planting
1,000 new churches in Ohio by 2030!

passion within their church to reach lost souls.
Anoint the work of their hands, so that the work
they do is multiplied.

missions personnel from Ohio in 2020. We thank You for
the call on all their lives and for their sacrifice to answer
that call. We are praying for 300% increase in that

have not heard through divine intervention, strategic
planning and missions initiatives. Burden us for their souls
