To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Angela Jones, science teacher at El Capitan High School, and I am writing a letter of
recommendation for Ramiro Granados with regard to all general scholarships he is applying for. I met this
talented student when he was enrolled in my Biology and Genetics classes. I would describe Ramiro as
creative, hard working, and caring.

Ramiro exhibits numerous strengths as a student and community member. While he has maintained an
above average GPA during high school,In his spare time, he assists older relatives by driving them to
important appointments and completing errands.

His academic goal is to graduate from Merced College with an associates degree and then transfer to a
4-year university to earn his Bachelors in business.He plans to do all this while truck driving. His career goal
is to do real estate.He wants to do trucking for a bit so he can maintain money for real estate. With Ramiros’
skills and determination, I am confident that his hard working mindset will allow him to attain these goals in
the near future.

I recommend that you consider Ramiro Granadosfor all general scholarships he has applied for. I believe he
embodies all the characteristics of what you are looking for in a scholarship recipient. He is truly deserving of
such an honor.
