I am sending this letter to express my interest in a position open in your district. I

am currently student teaching in the Watertown School District. In May 2022, I
will be receiving my degree from Dakota State University in Elementary and
Special Education.

I have been student teaching in the Watertown district since August of 2021. Upon
graduating, I will have spent time in 1st grade general education, elementary special
education, and middle school special education classrooms. I believe that my
various student teaching experiences would make me an asset to your district.

I believe I have a lot to offer your district. I strive to help students achieve their
goals by creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that is full of
interaction and positive energy. With strong interpersonal skills, I have the ability
to communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow colleagues. Along
with strong interpersonal and communication skills, I am capable of adapting my
teaching style to accommodate the specific needs of my students.
