Virtual School -Based Inservice Training (Inset) for Teachers and


School Heads

The teaching personnel of Viva Antipolo Elementary School together with our
School Head Ms. Michelle Ursabia, organized an interactive Virtual School
Base Training for School Head and Teachers with the theme A-5 Day Inset
2021: Renewing Commitments and Equipping 21st Century Teachers for the
Effective Implementation of New Normal Delivery of Learning February 2-4
2022 through Google Meet.
Ma’am Michelle our facilitator .
The program started at 8 :00 in the morning with video presentation of
Philippine National Anthem followed by a prayer and food for thought and
Opening Remarks of Our School Head Ms. Michelle Ursabia led by Maam
Joan Mae Oliver and Sir Roderick Oliver

The first speaker was Ma’am Michelle D. Ursabia our Teacher in Charge
before she presents her topic, she gave us a pretest about the topics. She
discussed about D.O 30 S, 2019 DepED Manual of Style the latest languages
Pretest Postest style, format and usage based. She also discussed the correct abbreviation
names of organizations and it is very helpful to us to learned new things that
we will used as a teacher.

Our Second Speaker was Sir Roderick V. Oliver he tackle the Guidelines on
the Cancellation / Suspension of classes and work in Government Offices due
to typhoons ,flooding other weather Disturbance and Calamities D.O.14 S,
2021.He discussed about teaching school personnel including ALS
TEACHERS solely handling cancelled or suspended classes are not required
to report to work regardless of working arrangements adopted by the school
in consideration of the work/services that they have to render during make up
classes. This topic helps us to be aware when typhoon hits our school.

Our third speaker was Ma’am Edna B. Orjalesa her topic is Reiteration on the
Prohibitions of electioneering and partisan Political Party D.O. 48 S, 2018.She
Discussed about reminder to all of its officials teaching and non-teaching
personnel to ensure that government workers will focused on the affairs of

the government to do away with the political system.

The session ended fruitful and productive with the commitment of each teacher
to pursue better education of the learners.
