possible! God did it for me. (NOTE: If you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, you’ve
not started Life! Say this prayer now; “Dear Jesus Christ, I believe you died to save me. I
confess and forsake all my evil ways. Come into my life today and be my Master. Help me to
serve you for the rest of my life. Amen”. Congratulations! Visit www.smhos.org and join our
services online.)

You can transform your financial status by saving up to 40% of your monthly income.

You can change your physical state by waking up, 4am every day to prepare for the day. Be
diligent in your place of work. Be respectful, honest, social, etc.

HOW TO GET AN IT PLACEMENT

You’ve applied in many places through letter, online and other means but have not gotten
IT placement yet. What next?

First of all, believe you will get a good IT placement (with skill, connection and money
included). What you believe is what you attract. If you go with the public opinion that getting
an IT placement is hard, then it will be hard for you. Dare to believe!

Secondly, decide on which state you wish to do the IT. Choose a state that has more
opportunities for Internship like Lagos, PH, etc. Look out for someone that lives in such state
through your family members or friends. There will definitely be someone you can stay within
such state. Once located, google for companies around his area of residence. On arrival,
photocopy the school IT letter, fill your details and submit in person. Note: Be confident and
corporately dressed (suit preferably). Don’t tell gatemen you are seeking for IT
placement, else they will deny your entry. Just introduce yourself and ask to meet their
Human Resource Manager for a confidential issue. For example; “Good morning sir! My
name is Promise C. Nwachukwu from Federal University of Technology Owerri. I was
sent by my school to see your Human Resource Manager for a confidential issue.” Sounds
professional, doesn’t it? Once you get access to the manager or any top official in the
Company, politely reveal your mission. You’ll surely get a good person. By the time you do
this in three to five companies, you’ll get a placement.

Nothing worthwhile is ever achieved without COURAGE, it is your access to greatness!

Thirdly, seek God’s face before going out each morning. When you seek Him first, He makes
you first. Without God’s grace, your effort will be futile. So, don’t neglect God, He holds your
placement. Don’t stop praying for IT placement until you get a good one. God’s grace!

SIGNINGS

After getting an IT placement, the next thing to do is to locate an ITF office around that area.
Every state has an ITF office, so ask questions and use google map. Once located, fill your
form 7 (land scape sized form) and submit it there for free once you start your IT.

Then fill your placement form, sign, scan it and send to a friend in school for submission.
(NOTE: It should be printed colored). Supply other relevant information required by the
school.

During your IT, keep in touch with other students in your area to know when a university
supervisor is coming to your area. Prepare for him. Make sure that your log book is updated and
signed by the company’s supervisor (NOTE: Ensure the company’s supervisor stamps your
log book). In some, cases the university supervisor will have a meeting place for all the
students in the area, or he may visit their company’s one after the other. Whichever is the case,
make sure he signs your own and give you a form which you’ll give to your company’s
supervisor for due signing.

At the end of your IT, complete your log book (add your passport) signing and other forms;
then go back to the ITF office for them to stamp your log book.
