Project 2 instructions

I picked checking your tire pressure for my project 2 topic because I think it's very important to
know how to check your tire pressure and how to put or release pressure from your tires.

What you will need is

Tire Gauge https://www.autozone.com/tire-repair-and-tire-wheel/tire-pressure-gauge/p/slime-10-

Air pressure pump or compressor

1. First you need to know what the recommended PSI is, for most cars the recommended
is 32 to 35 PSI.
2. Then you need to go to your tire and find the tire valve and take off the cap.
3. Next you press the gauge onto the tire valve. The wite part at the end of it will go out and
that's how you will know how much pressure is in your tire.
4. If the tire is fine go check the next one and repeat steps 2 and 3. Do this till you find out
which tire needs air or which tire needs air released.
5. To add pressure you will get your pump, attach the tip of the pump to the valve and then
turn on the pump.
6. Once air is added use a gauge to check the pressure if it is at the right PSI then leave it
if it needs more air repeat step 5, and if there is too much then release air.
7. To release air use the little thing at the back of your gauge and push on the valve and
you will hear the air/ pressure releasing.
8. Then when you are finished make sure to put your cap back on the tire valve.
