SUMMARY
This study sought to determine the level of Stress among the Senior High School
students of Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated. Specifically, this study seeks for
answer to the following questions:
1. What is the level of Stress among the Senior High School students of Sibugay
Technical Institute Incorporated?
2. Is there a significant difference between male and female in the level of Stress
among the Senior High School students of Sibugay Technical Institute
Incorporated?
3. What are the sources of Stress as perceived by the Senior High School students of
Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated?
4. What are the possible effects of stress among the Senior High School students of
Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated?
This study was focused on the level of Stress among the Senior High School students
of Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated.
This study involved Senior High School students of Sibugay Technical Institute
Incorporated who were enrolled during the School Year 2019-2020. The respondentsof
the study were the fifty (50) Senior High School students consisted of 25 males and 25
females.
This study used survey method as an instrument, which include the open-ended
questionnaire to have an enough answer to the needed data.

FINDINGS
After the analysis and interpretation of data gathered, the following are the
findings:
1. The mean of the level of Stress among the Senior High School students of
Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated is on a “Stress” level. This is based on
the computed weighted mean which is 3.03.
2. There was no significant difference in the level of Stress among the Senior High
School students of Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated, since the t-computed
value is 1.562 which is lesser than the t-critical value with the degree of freedom
= 43 at alpha level 0.05 which is 2.021.
3. There are six common sources namely School Problems, Family Problems,
Financial Problems, Judgement and Expectation by others, and Bullied and Being
Compared. School Problems has the highest percentage which has 22%, followed
by Family Problem which has 18%, Financial Problem which has 14%,
Judgement and Expectation by others which has 14%, and lastly Bullied and
Being Compared which has 2%.
4. The percentage of the possible effects of stress as perceived by the Senior High
School of Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated are as follows, Drug and
Alcohol Misuse has a percentage of 24%, Irritability or Anger has a percentage of
50%, Sleep Problems has a percentage of 54%, Lack of Motivation and Focus has
a percentage of 56% and Sadness and Depression has a percentage of

CONCLUSIONS
1. The mean of the level of Stress among the Senior High School students of
Sibugay Technical Institute Incorporated is on a “Stress” level.
2. The results showed that there were nosignificant difference in the level of Stress
among the Senior High School students of Sibugay Technical Institute
Incorporated, since the t-computed value is 1.562 which is lesser than the t-critical
value with the degree of freedom = 43 at alpha level 0.05 which is 2.021. The
results attest that male and female had no difference in the level of stress. Both
gender had the same level of stress.
3. School Problems has the highest percentage which has 22%, followed by Family
Problem which has 18%, Financial Problem which has 14%, Judgement and
Expectation by others which has 14%, and lastly Bullied and Being Compared
which has 2%.
4. Sadness and Depression has the highest percentage which has 70%, followed by
Lack of Motivation and Focus has a percentage of 56%, Sleep Problems has a
percentage of 54%, Irritability or Anger has a percentage of 50%, and lastly Drug
and Alcohol Misuse has a percentage of 24%.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Within the context of this study, findings could help inform the next steps for
improving student proficiency and student growth in Mathematics. Recommendations for
curricular support will assist in meeting school goals and improve student learning.
