This guide is designed for new-hire or pre-hire instructors.

FIRST LOGIN – STEP 1

Go to https://sso.berlitz.com/register/internal and enter your details to create your account.
All fields are mandatory. Please note the points highlighted below.

1. Email address 4. Supervisor Email Address 6. Location

You must enter your own valid email
address.
2. Username
You can choose your own username
for our @Berlitz Learning Center.
3. Password
You can choose your own password
for the learning center, following the
guidelines provided in the form.
Enter the email address of the supervisor
who will be managing you. Check with
the Berlitz team to be sure that you are
entering the correct email address.
5. Job Title
Choose “Pre-hire Instructor” from the
drop down menu. This is essential to
ensure that you can start the learning
program for pre-hire instructors.
Enter the Berlitz location that you will be
associated with. Check with the Berlitz
team if you are not sure which location to
enter.
7. Register Now!
When you click “Register Now!” you will be
instructed to check your email inbox and
click a link to confirm your account. Please
do this immediately to ensure that you can
access @Berlitz as quickly as possible.

FIRST LOGIN – STEP 2

Go immediately to your email in-box and click the link to confirm your account. This
completes the account-creation process. If the email doesn’t arrive, contact support (below).

FIRST LOGIN – STEP 3

Wait 2 hours and then log into https://learningcenter.berlitz.net . You can use the username you
chose in Step 1 or your email address. Use the password you chose in Step 1.

QUICK START GUIDE FOR OUR ATBERLITZ LEARNING CENTER!
This is your homepage. Use the points highlighted below to get to know your account.

1. Active Programs 2. My Learning

Here you will find any learning programs that have been
assigned to your account. Learning programs include a
combination of online modules, resources to download,
tests, discussion forums, etc.
3. Find Learning
Here, you can search for courses that are available in
@Berlitz. You can also email your supervisor if there is a
course that you are interested in and you would like to
have access to. Your supervisor will get back to you and
confirm if this course is available.
In the My Learning drop down menu includes 3 options:
My Learning; Required Programs; Record of Learning.
My Learning is an overview of all the programs and
individual courses that you have been assigned.
Required Programs takes you to the programs you have
been assigned – it is the same view as Active Programs
on your homepage.
Record of Learning shows your progress in completing
learning activities.

TECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The minimum specification for our @Berlitz Learning Center and e-learning content are:
 PC or Mac. A headset is required to listen to the online modules in our learning center.
 Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 or above, Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or above, Modern Linux
variant
 Allow pop-ups for the site in the browser you are using. If you do not enable pop-ups, you can still launch the
courses, but you will need to click to launch the courses manually.
 Recommended minimum browser: Google Chrome 11, Firefox 4, Safari 5, Internet Explorer 8
 32-bit colour graphics
 Keyboard and mouse or mouse pad
 Flash player version 7 or above
 Minimum bandwidth: 512 kbps
