TIMING

Warm-up T greet the Ss. T elicits from them the date and weather and writes on the board the T-Ss
information. T collects the HW.
(10 minutes)

Pre reading Ss review numbers up to 1000. T writes on the board different numbers and Ss read T-Ss
them. Ss look at pages 6 and 7, from the CB and answer: Why do you think this story
(20 minutes)
is called Number World?

Reading/ Ss watch the video and check their ideas. SS


Listening

(10 minutes)

Post Reading T checks understanding and asks about the vocabulary from the story: challenge, SS
sum, easy, difficult, maze. Ss revise months of the year and days of the week. Ss do
(25 minutes)
activities 2 and 3, page 5, AB.

HW AB, page 4, activity 1. Solve the maths, tick and follow. T-Ss
