Ans 3.

(a) Because he is not a good listener to his team, Jack is not ready to be a project manager.
Alfreda suggested a cost-cutting technique to Jack, but he refused to consider it. He should be
able to lead as a project manager since a successful leader communicates well and listens to
input. Jack might have prepared for his new position by assigning his team to the project with
the suitable individuals for the task. He shouldn't have used his new position to his advantage.
And, if he's hiring individuals he's previously worked with, he shouldn't be prejudiced and
make sure they're the proper fit for the position.

Ans-3(b) It might be scary to start a new job and work under a different management style.
Jack has 12 years of experience with the organization, many friends from the prior project,
and is a project manager, which gives him greater power and influence. Alfreda is also new to
the firm, and if there is a misunderstanding between Jack and her coworkers, they will
believe she is the issue. Perhaps Alfreda is still processing the event and determining the best
time to approach Jack.

If Alfreda confronts Jack directly, he will be arrogant, particularly since his 12 years with the
firm have led him to assume that he knows best. Jack refuses to listen to Alfreda's proposal
because he feels he understands more about the firm's operations than Alfreda, who is new to
the organization. Directly addressing top management may sometimes be seen as rude,
particularly if you are new to the office and need to acclimatize to the new atmosphere.

Ans-3(c) The electrical engineering manager will handle this matter properly and equitably
for all parties involved. Jack's problem with Alfreda must be addressed by the management.
This is something that should not be permitted. Before making a decision and having it
investigated, the manager should collect evidence and listen to all sides of the issue. The
management must specify the employee's tasks and responsibilities, as well as provide certain
rules and make suggestions if they are not followed.
