Module 3 Discussion: Your Creative Art Project

I chose to do a painting for this discussion. I chose to do a painting because I am not the
best painter, and want to become better at it. The reason I painted this picture of stars
(astrology signs), and the night sky in a forest is because those are things that I am
interested in and wanted to paint. I chose to paint the Leo sign (on the left) and an
Aquarius sign (on the right) with a heart in the middle because they are my girlfriend's
and my signs. Some techniques I used were blending paints together to make the sky
and flicking the paintbrush to make the splattered stars. For this painting, I used acrylic
paint, paintbrushes, and a toothpick to connect the dots for the astrology signs. I'm not
the greatest painter but I did do my best, so I hope you all enjoy my art:)
