Set 1:

 
Situation
Your friend is looking for a job, but s/he finds it difficult to decide
which ones to choose. Make a conversation with your friend to:
1/ Ask what her/his strengths and weaknesses are
2/ Ask her/ him about some potential industries s/he is interested in
3/ Ask about her/his expectations in the new job
4/ Give her/him job some recommendations
Remember to start and end the dialogue properly.
 
A: Hi, how are you today? You look so tired!
B: Yeah, I’m not good, I have a big problem
A: What’s wrong with you? Can you tell me?
B: Well, actually, I’m looking for a programming job, but it’s hard to
decide which one suits me.
A: okay, I see. I don’t know what I can help you, but first, can you tell
me what your strengths are
B: I’m good at several programming languages and I used to be a
leader in a social club when I was in my university.
A: oh, nice. So what is the job you are interested in right now?
B: The jobs that interest me the most are game programmer, tester,
web programmer.
A: I think you should go for a web developer job because this industry
is trending.
B: oh, yes.
A: What are your expectations when you get this new job?
B: i want to devote myself to making high quality products and i can
become a professional programmer.
A: I believe you can do it. I know some programming companies like
FPT software, global cybersoft, harvey nash. You can consult.

Situation
Imagine you are interviewing an applicant for a position in your
company. Make a conversation with the applicant to find out:
1/ Background information of the candidate
2/ Some sets of skills that s/he has
3/ The reasons why s/he wants this job
4/ Whether the candidate has any questions for your company

A: Did you apply for the position of programmer in our company?
B: that's right. I applied to the company last week.
A: So today I represent our company to invite you here to interview you with

questions. Are you ready?
B: yes, I'm ready.
A : Can you introduce some information about yourself?

B: yes. my name is .... this year i am twenty-five years old and i am reading dear.
My hometown is in Quang Tri and I'm living in Danang. I used to study at Dong A
university. My hobbies are playing sports, listening to music and watching
movies.
I am a very sociable and fun person.
A: Do you have any skills or experience?
B: I used to learn some programming languages like java, python, ruby. and I
have
a year of experience working in a web development company.
A: Besides that, do you have any other skills?
B: Besides, I have good communication skills, teamwork skills.
A: That's too good. Why did you choose this position and why do you know our
company?
B: because I have been very well trained for this job and with one year of
experience I am very confident that I can do it. The reason I know about this
company is because I researched on the internet.

A: When working at the company, do you have any requirements or aspirations?
B: I want to work to the best of my ability for the company. My aspiration when
joining that company is to be able to learn a lot of knowledge and become a
professional programmer.

Set 3:

Situation
Imagine you are a staff at a mobile phone store. There is a customer
asking you to make a recommendation. You should:
1/ Ask the customer about his/her requirements
2/ Ask the customer about his/her budget
3/ Introduce suitable products (features, price,…)

A: Good morning, how can I help you?
B: Hi, I want to buy a new phone
A: Which brand do you want to buy?
B: I'm using samsung, now I want to upgrade to a new device. But I am deciding
between Iphone X or Iphone 11, I read some reviews on the web and still can't
decide which brand to buy. Can you give me an advice?
A: Of course. But I want to know what do you use it for?
B: I often use it for learning, storing information, and designing. Besides, it also
helps me entertain, chat with friends and relatives after a tiring day at work.
A: Can you tell me about your budget? So that I can easily refer to which type is
right for you.
B: Hmm. I need to buy a phone for about 15 million VND. I'm currently a student,
so I can only spend time working part-time to buy a new phone for my studies.

B: can you introduce some information about iphone 11?

4/ Ask him/her to recommend some specialties for you to experience

are many beautiful places such as Ba Na hill, dragon bridge, My Khe beach. You
can go to those places to enjoy your days here.

B: Hmm. I think you should take part in activities like walking around town or
camping overnight here.

Situation
