STANDARDS OF CONDUCT OF FILIPINO SOLDIERS

Loyalty: Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S constitution, the Army, your unit and the other soldier.

Duty: Fulfill your obligations, Respect: Treat people as they should be treated.

Selfless-Service: Put the welfare of the nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own.

Honor: Live up to all the Army soldiers.

Integrity: Do what’s right, legally and morally.

Personal Courage: Face Fear, danger, or adversity (Physical or Moral)

Importance of the Standards of Conduct of a Filipino Soldier

All soldiers, no matter what their rank, are followers as well as leader. Whether you serve a
single term of enlistment or make a career of the Army, you and your leaders are part on an institution
whose purpose is to maintain our free and democratic society. To be a successful follower and a
successful soldier, you need to understand and accept the four fundamental values that should underlie
everything the Army does.
