 Introduction of the Company
Established in 2020 by Ms. Aditi tiwari named MIKA, it has grown as
international apparel manufacturer, operating with 1 Processing mills, We
have over 3000 employees including 300 women. We are committed to
serving our customers through design-led innovation and our positive social
and environmental business practices.
Requirements of the Project
1. Quantity - 100 scarves
2. Shape of scarves- Rectangular scarves
3. Scarves size - Length-40 inch 20 inch
4. Fabric- Cotton Voile
5. Quantity of fabric - 60 mtrs
6. Prints- 60 scarf of Floral Print, 40 scarf of Animal Print
7. Print type- Digital Printing
8. Trims- Tassels, Fringes and Lace (25 scarf with Tassels, 25 scarf with
fringes, 25 scarf with lace and 25 scarf without any trims and accessories).
Methodology
We have to complete our order in 30 days. So I have divided days for each
process which is Fabric sourcing, for printing and for production of scarf with
trims and accessories.

So we have fabric vendors, printing vendors and trims & accessories vendors.

We will evaluate these vendors on the basis of our requirements.

1. For Fabric- (5 days)

● Lead time- As we have decided 5 days for the fabric sourcing, so we will
evaluate vendors on the basis that how much time they will take to deliver
the fabrics at our office.
● Cost- Vendor who will provide fabric at affordable price.
● Location- Vendor who are at easily available location.
● Minimum Quantity- Vendor’s minimum order quantities
● Maximum Quantity- Vendor’s maximum order quantity

2. For Printing Vendor (15 days)

● Printing technique- Vendor who will provide required printing
● Cost- Vendor who will provide the required printing in affordable price.
● Lead Time- As we have decided 15 days for the printing process, so the
vendor who will provide the prints in the given time.
● Minimum Quantity- Vendor’s minimum order quantities
● Location- to find next ‘ideal’ location or vendor who are easily accessible
3. Trims & Accessories (Tassels, lace and fringes)
● Provide- vendor who will provide our required Trims and accessories
● Minimum Quantity- Vendor’s minimum order quantities
● Cost- vendor who will provide the above mentioned Trims at
affordable price.
● Location- to find next ‘ideal’ location
Vendor Evaluation Criteria
1. Minimum Quantity -A minimum order quantity is the fewest number of
units which a supplier can provide or manufacture it, If the supplier has
the capacity to handle your requirements and fulfill your needs in his
minimum supply order quantity.
2. Cost - Suppliers comparisons depend greatly on this, but be sure to keep
in mind that cheap does not always equate to high quality.
3. Lead time - the time between the initiation and completion of a
production process. whether the supplier can provide my requirements
and fulfill my needs at my given time
4. Location- easily accessible location will always lead to quick delivery.

Conclusion
● For our order of 100 scarfs we have conducted a vendor evaluation and
made a scoreboard for the vendor selection.
● For Fabric, vendor A is suitable according to our requirements of the
fabric.
● For Trims and accessories, vendor B is suitable according to our needs.
● For Printing, Vendor E is suitable according to need of the prints on the
fabric.
