Content and Pedagogy for the Mother- Tongue

- In the learning process of the students, it is vital for them to feel that thier identity, culture
background and personal experience is acknowledge and value so that the learning will flow
naturally. Whenever the child would feel degraded in any ways the child would resist learning
and leads to no learning at all. Thats why it is important that a teachers should give on-grade
and cultural relevant materials in teaching mother tongue so that the child would learn not just
the historical culture their origin but also they would feel that there are acknowledge and
value.

- I think it was in elementary back then there is no books that was mother tongue as the
language. That's why it was too difficult fo an elementary student like actually it can learn from
the books.

- That experience really affects my learning process the books was hard to fanthomize since
mostly, it was written in english and given the fact that we have to bring 8 books, So the
learning process I describe it was worst.
