Thank you for purchasing one or all of these libraries I’ve released for the Korg
wavestate! If you got this library for free, please consider doing the right thing and
buying your own license to use these samples from my website (www.pluginguru.com).
These are NOT free samples. In order to legally use them you need to have purchased
a copy in your name from me. This is how I pay my bills so I thank you for your
business!

This is the rst Hardware synth I have supported with sample libraries. To this date
these libraries are available in Omnisphere, Kontakt and many other formats
(depending on the library). This manual will explain how to get the samples into the
Korg wavestate and how to import the bundles of presets that come with each of these
libraries

 Installatio
These libraries are designed and will ONLY work with a wavestate that has been
successfully updated to version 2.0. There is a free updater and applications found
here:https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/

Part of the Update you can download are 2 Applications: Sample Builder and Wavestate
Editor Librarian. These applications are required to do load these libraries

ALSO - if you have an older Korg wavestate that you have not updated

If your Korg Wavestate powers up and say’s it V1.05 or lower, you rst MUST update to
version 1.0.6 and then you can update to version 2.0.1 or whatever the latest version of
the updater is. The ability to have a user sampler area in the Korg Wavestate is ONLY
possible with version 2.0 software. If your wavestate is not at version 2.0 or later then
these sample libraries will not be able to be used in your Korg wavestate.

Installation consists of 2 separate procedures you will need to do

1) STEP 1 - Use the Sample Builder Application (created and available at Korg’s
website) to transmit the libraries sample BANK to your updated v2.0+ Korg
wavestate
2) STEP 2 - Use the wavestate Editor Librarian Application to Import the
libraries .wsbundle le of presets into the Editor Librarian application which will also
transmit the presets to your wavestate

STEP BY STEP

Make sure you have communication between your wavestate and your computer
via USB

Tip: In the Editor Librarian’s Preferencers, there is an option for Performance Selection
set it to: “Select in list also selects on synth” which makes using the application very
easy! Select a Performance in the editor and it is selected in your wavestate as well -
this makes working with the software REALLY fast

STEP 1) Run the Sample Builder Application and under le select

“Open Bank

Navigate to the Unzipped MegaMagic Pads V1 folder, open the Samples folder and
select the top le “00_MegaMagic Pads V1” and load it. If it asks for a sample, then
navigate to the Samples folder in that same folder, select the sample it is asking you to
locate and it should then load the whole bank into the Sample Builder Bank window and
look like this:

Click “SEND BANK” and it will send all of the samples in the list to your wavestate. If
you have more than 1 bank you want to load, you will need to MERGE multi sounds by
using the “ADD Multisample(s)…” option in the File pull down, navigate to the other
Samples folder, select ALL of the .korgmultisample les and it will ADD THEM to your
existing bank. You can load as many multisample les as you would like before hitting
the SEND BANK button. They can be loaded in any order, the Performances / Patches
are looking for les based on their name and unique ID Korg gives each one.

NOTE: After loading samples to your wavestate, they are there until you replace them
with different samples. If you turn off the power of your wavestate, they will be retained

Now that the samples are in your wavestate, you’ll need to import the Preset data

STEP 2) Run Wavestate Editor Libraria

Under File select “Import”, and load the .wsbundle le that is included with the library
you purchased. It will load and transmit all of the Performances and Patches in the
library to your wavestate and display a con rmation window when the process is
complete. It should look something like this

 That’s it! The Patches and Performances are now in wavestate and are ready to be
played.

Wavestate REALTIME Control

MegaMagic DREAMS, knobs 5 - 8 are assigned (5 = Amp Attack, 6 = Decay, 7 =

Release and 8 = Reverb Mix

MegaMagic Pads V1 all 8 are assigned (1 = RealTime octave up/down, 2 = Filter

Pulse, 3 = Amp Pulse, 4 = resonant lter sweep, 5 = Amp Attack, 6 = Decay, 7 =
Release and 8 = Reverb Mix
