THE INTERESTING CELEBRATIONS AROUND THE WORLD

It’s important to know the diferents celebrations around the world, because we
learn more about the places like to traditions, costumes and dates. This proyect is
going to talk about the most instesting celebrations around the world.

Japan

The following list explains.

 Bonenkai Party: This tradition celebrates in december, is a little meeting


with friends or coworkers and the objectiv is to forget the bad things,
problems and only enjoy with beer.
 Yamayaki festival: That tradition consist going to burn the vegetation of the
mountain, later the people going to see fireworks with their relatives. I don’t
know when is the festival.
 Tenjin Matsuri festival in Osaka: This celebration is on July 25 th. This
tradition consist in seeing more than 4 thousand fireworks with dances in the
park Sakuranomiya.

French

 Day of Bastilla: Celebration on July 14th with parades army, music,


fireworks, and things like that. The origin of this tradition is commemorate
the taking of the Bastilla.
 Fall festival: Many artists meet to show their art. The festival is going to
celebrate in september
 The Paris Marathon: It’s a sporting event, where the people run on de
coliseo field, later celebrates with spaghetti, bolognese sauce and stuff like
that. This marathon celebrates in April.
Mexico

 Independence day: The Independence day is going to be on September


16th. In Mexico people celebrates the Independence day on September 15 th
by getting together with friends and family, when the clock strikes midnight,
everyone shout “Viva Mexico”, the next day there are parades.
 Day of dead: This celebration is tradition in Mexico, because a lot of people
put altars for their deceased relatives. Day of dead is going to be on
November 1st.
 Day of Candelaria: That tradition consist eats “Tamales” with their relatives
because when someone has the kid of the “rosca de reyes” that person is
going to do the “tamales”. Day of Candelaria is going to be on February 2 nd.

U.S.A

 Patrick’s day: The celebration of Patrick’s day is considerade for a


celebration in honor of Irlanda, the people drink beer and meet with their
friends to enjoy the time. Celebration on March 17 th.
 Halloween: This celebration is one of my favorites, because the people
wear a costumes and go out for trick or treating. Halloween is going to be on
October 31st. Maybe i’m going to wear a costume.
 Thanksgiving Day: It’s a family reunion where they give thanks and eat the
famous baked turkey on November 25th.
Germany

 Saint Sylvester's Day: Celebration in Honor of Silverter’s Dad who was


from the catholic religión, this commemoration is on December 31 st and the
people celebrates with wine, music and stuff like that.
 Oktoberfest: It’s the most of tradition there, the people enjoy with music,
mechanical games, sausages, bretzels and a lot of beer.

Indian

 Bikaner Camel Festival: This celebration is in honor for the Camels, the
people adorn the Camel and they do camel racing, shearing, dancing and
race competition. The Festival is going to celebrate on January 8 th.
 Diwali - Hindu New Year: Diwali in Indian celebrates with clean their
houses, they buys new clothes and gives a present for their family, this
celebration is in October or November.

Brazil

 The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro: It’s considered the biggest carnival in the
world, this celebration has a lot of parades floats, and adornments from
numerous samba schools. The Carnival is going to be on February 25 th.
 São João in Paraíba: Every June, Brazilians celebrate Saints Juan,
Antonio and Pedro. This holiday is celebrated with food, dancing,
attractions, concerts, and bonfires. The party takes place in Parque do
Povo, a free place where everyone is welcome. This celebration is going to
be on June 7th.
Hi teacher and friends
In celebration of the Independe day or another celebration that is coming,
i’m invite you to stay in your home because the situation it’s not better yet,
so you can do a little meet with your friends or relatives, you can make this
