formation Technology Division) accountable for: 1) enterprise business intellige
nce technical solutions and 2) enterprise business intelligence infrastructure a
nd toolsets to host IT applications and
corresponding business users (SAS 9.1.3/9.2, Business Objects XiR2/R3.1, WebSphe
re Portal 6.1, MSAS 2005) working in conjunction with Teradata 12 data warehouse
environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- refinement of business needs/capabilities into technical program initiatives/p
rojects for calendar year/rolling

- lead project initiatives thru Discovery (business requirements, technical solu
tioning options and
recommendation, project estimates including labor resources and hardware/softwar
e requirements and architecture/technical design approach) and Enterprise Projec
t Management lifecycle (planning, execute, implementation/closing and warranty)
for design, development and implementation of end-to-end enterprise business int
elligence applications (data, application and web)
- staff responsibilities include: management of project manager, solution engine
er, business system analyst,
developer (both associate and external resources) roles - and management team co
mprised application development managers. External vendor partners include Accen
ture, SAS, Business Objects, Teradata/ Claraview, Cognizant, InfoSys , IBM
- accountable for vendor relationship management including hardware/software pu
rchase and renewals for
BI infrastructure & toolsets and SOWs (statements of work)/MSAs (Master Service
Agreements) for contract resources. Software vendors include SAS, Business Objec
ts, Thompson Reuters, TierMed, IBM, Trizetto
- accountable for financial management for: annual plan of record (project) budg
et of approximately $60 - 65
million, lights-on and discretionary budget of approximately $15 - 20 million.
