A Semi Detailed Lesson Plan in English 3

I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:
a) define adverbs
b) identify adverbs of frequency in a sentence
c) use adverbs of frequency in sentence.

II. Subject Matter:


A. Topic: Identifying adverb of frequency in sentence
B. Reference: English 3 Book PP. 271
C. Materials: Laptop, PowerPoint presentation, and video presentation.

III. Procedures
A. Preparation
The teacher will begin the class by greeting the students, leading the prayer, and
checking the attendance.

B. Motivation
The teacher will ask questions to learners (What do you do every day? How often do
you see your best friend? What time do you usually go to bed?) The teacher will call
a name of a learner and answer the question.

C. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will introduce the topic or lesson using PowerPoint presentation and
start discussing what is all about identifying the adverbs of frequency in sentence.
 The teacher also gave examples of sentences using the adverbs of frequency and
list of adverbs of frequency.

D. Activity
The learners will answer the question of the teacher. They will tell to their teacher if
what adverbs of frequency used in each sentences.

E. Generalization
The teacher will ask learner what is adverbs of frequency

IV. Evaluation
The teacher will give an activity to learners. The learners will only write the letter of their
answer to complete each sentences given.

V. Assignment
The teacher will give an assignment to learners to construct a sentence that has a adverbs
of frequency.
