MUTUAL FUND – A mutual fund is a professionally-managed investment scheme, usually run

by an asset management company that brings together a group of people and invests their
money in stocks, bonds and other securities.

INDUSTRT - A mutual fund is a company that pools money from many


investors and invests the money in securities such as stocks, bonds, and
short-term debt. The combined holdings of the mutual fund are known as
its portfolio. Investors buy shares in mutual funds. Each share represents
an investor’s part ownership in the fund and the income it generates.

RESEARCH - Research methodology is the way of systematically solving the research


problem. It is a science
of studying how research is conducted scientifically.

Reliability - It refers to the degree to which a test is consistent and stable in measuring what it
is intended to measure. Cronbach’s alpha is a measure used to assess the reliability, or
internal consistency, of a set of scale or test items. Reliability tests, like Cronbach’s alpha, are
most commonly used to see if questionnaires with multiple scale questions are reliable

MANN-WHITNEY TEST / U-TEST

The Mann-Whitney test, also called the rank sum test, is a nonparametric test that compares
two unpaired groups.

The independent t-test, also called the two-sample t-test, independent-samples t-test or
student's t-test, is an inferential statistical test that determines whether there is a statistically
significant difference between the means in two unrelated groups
