SIS Swiss International School operates 17 bilingual, private day schools in Switzer-

land, Germany and Brazil. Around 3.700 students attend our schools from kindergar-
ten through to college. They come from local as well as from international families.
At our location in SIS Brasília, we teach around 160 kindergarten and secondary
school children.
We have an opening for a full time:

Elementary School English Teacher

Responsibilities and duties:
• Teach English, math, geography, history, science, art and drama classes to ele-
mentary school students;
• Plan, prepare and implement engaging lessons;
• Assess and report on student learning and development;
• Assist the pedagogical coordinator and librarian in the selection and curation of
bibliographic material to support the school‘s units of inquiry;
• Support the organisation of school events, such as presentations and Book Week;
• Encourage and propose activities that promote the culture of English-speaking
countries;
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child´s learning
and development.

Requirements and qualifications:

• English as a native language or proficiency in English (with level C1 or C2 of the
Common European Framework)
• Bachelor´s Degree
• Creativity and proactivity, with a willingness to learn
• Able to work in a collaborative teaching team
