Scenario

AUM goes smart!

Smart Campus is defined as “a physical or digital environment in which humans and

technology-enabled systems interact to create more immersive and automated experiences.
Smart Campus is a term used to describe educational institutions that use next-generation
technologies woven seamlessly within a well-architected infrastructure. This can enhance the
campus experience and provide education in a manner that all can access. It creates proactive
interactions to foster positive outcomes.

Through the “AUM goes smart” project, AUM invites students to come up with fresh,
creative, and innovative ideas that will contribute to the realization of the “AUM goes
smart” plan.

Objectives:

Provide ideas that will:

1. Improve student experiences.
2. Enhance campus safety.
3. Reduce operational costs.
4. Boost university reputation.
5. Reduce your carbon footprint.

You will need to decide on specific ideas (5 ideas) that are also practical and realistic. To do
that, you will need to go through a decision analysis process that will help you decide which
ideas will be the most effective.
Task 1: Brainstorm ideas that could help you achieve your objectives (you will need a
list of 10 ideas).
1. Critical thinking
2. Intelligence
3. Modular
4. Adaptable
5. Psychodynamic
6. Instinctive
7. Pliable
8. Adoptable
9. Adaptive
10. Modular

Task 2: Fill in the decision analysis matrix below for 8 of the ideas.

Task 3: Based on the data from the Decision Analysis Matrix, prepare a list of the 5
ideas that appear to be the most effective ones.

1. Intelligence
2. Psychodynamic
3. Adaptable
4. Adaptive
5. Modular
Task 4: Write a short proposal to present your “AUM goes smart” plan to the
University Committee. You need to include the 5 most effective ideas according to your
Decision Analysis Matrix.

Make sure to follow the form of a report using appropriate headings, sub-headings,
bullet-points etc. (about 400 words)

Advancement in technology has helped people in different line of work including students
and professors. Technology has helped in evolution of the current industrialized world that
has promoted innovation and creativity. Everything that people do nowadays has its grounds
on technological advancements
- Intelligence- engaging with the smart campus students will have a major influence in
impacting knowledge to the students. Intelligence influences creativity among the
campus students who are able to explore major opportunities.
- Psychodynamic- the morphing services offered by students in campus allows then to
reach their potential and use their capabilities to explore future opportunities that are
essential in the architectural style. As result the design of the systems might be well
adaptive as people are evolving with the current changes
- Adoptable- The idea might allow AUM institutions and colleges to communicate with
their peers and expand tremendously in a globalized world. While most faculties and
universities are limited in scope and duration, a creative construction solution can
provide global scalability to fulfill the institution's needs: The solution may leverage
virtual equipment and technology for seamless statistics-driven investigations and
enhanced accessibility. As long as students are in a classroom setting on campus or a
virtual study room (where we may join from anywhere on the planet), the solution can
be tailored to our needs.
- Adaptive- We are able to want to install smart campus implementations so as for
creative faculties to trade our institutions to match the expectations of contemporary
and the following day's campuses. It has the ability to improve three key regions:
expertise, skill, and schooling. As a end result, it has the capacity to regulate the
manner college students examine and research. It has the ability to be a trade agent,
supporting schools and universities to reinvent how college students will examine and
paintings in the future. To satisfy the demands of our digital-local stakeholders, we
may retain to serve our conventional Campus even as adjusting to new methods of
servicing them. Educational institutions can modernize whilst nonetheless serving our
present parts and being financially feasible with the help of a smart campus.
- Modular- Scholars largely agree that modular degrees offer several benefits to
students in terms of flexibility, choice, access, and mobility. It is also frequently
maintained that modular frameworks may be advantageous to universities since they
may enable institutions to adjust to the demands of businesses. The needs of AUM
campuses and the technology to help them are constantly changing. An wise AUM
campus answer may leverage a micro-services-based domain pushed-layout structure
to conquer this difficulty.
