In complete sentences, describe what you did to complete this assignment/activity: To complete this,
I made a rough draft about ourself and what I would write for my thumbprint. When I finished that, I did
a thumbprint design in ink, the words based off of my rough draft. Some of my more important words
were colored or had color in them. When I finished writing the words, I drew in colored pencil some
symbols that represented some of my words behind my thumbprint, for example, the purple (Supposed to
be) bronco I drew to represent my school’s mascot.

In complete sentences, explain why this assignment/activity demonstrates the skill checked above:
This shows my academic skills in writing. It shows it because I needed to organize and write thoughts
about me. I also had to have good punctuation and capitalization. I made sure to double check and edit
because sometimes I don’t think clear and write words the wrong way. I had to make sure it made sense
too. I tried using interesting things to write about to keep anyone reading entertained.

Choose one of the following questions to answer about your work (check one):
☐ What makes this work one of your best?
☐ What problems did you encounter as you were working and how did you overcome them?
☐ What are some of the strengths and/or weaknesses of this work?
☐ Why should you share this work with others?
☐ How could you improve this work?
In at least three complete sentences, write a detailed response to the question you chose above:
Some problems I ran into was space, as well as coming up with ideas about me in the rough draft process.
I couldn’t really see the thumbprint outline in the back for me to trace, so I was kind of off in the first few
sentences. I soon figured that I could place a blank computer paper and it would improve the visibility of
the lines I was supposed to go by.

Sometimes words were too long to fit into the proper size to keep the “Thumbprint” shape, so I wrote
some of the word until I couldn’t fit anymore, then I continued on the next bar.

Back in the rough draft part, I had trouble finding ideas. I looked on Schoology for ideas and examples.
There were a bunch of things for me to write about there.
