Environmental degradation is occurring at an alarming rate all over the world.

While some people

argue that the problems associated with the environment should be resolved globally, others think
that it is better to handle them nationally. In my opinion, I believe that countries should work
together to tackle this matter.

To begin with, there are some reasons why each nation should address its environmental issues.
Firstly, the environmental concerns differ from one country to another with varied causes. A feasible
solution can be estimated only once the factors contributing to that problem is identified. For
instance, the level of air pollution will be high in an industrialized country as compared to the
country with minimal industries. Therefore, it is better to plan solutions independently by
considering the root cause and implementing environmental laws to tackle the issues nation wise.

On the other hand, sometimes it will be difficult for countries to figure out solutions for some
countries due to lack of knowledge and experience. One obvious example is the global warming and
the pandemic of Covid – 19, which have a detrimental impact worldwide. Therefore, collaboration of
countries can propose mitigation plans to solve these issues. Moreover, developed countries can act
as a funding source or technology support for developing countries in case of any pandemics.

To conclude, although environmental issues are needed to be checked nation wise, there are some
problems which cannot be solved without the joint help of all the nations.
