1. What is the aim of ethics?

At this moment in time, We are in a modern society which has a lot of issues and challenges we live in
as well as in our society itself. Things like that influence our various aspects in life. As time passes by, Some people
tend to forget and ignore how to act properly or in a rightful manner. For instance, There are few things whether it
could be a law in a state or not, Some people bribed one another for their benefits and self-interests even if it's unfair
and morally wrong.
Despite that, we cannot deny the fact that some people truly know what is right and wrong to do. In addition
with the help of ethics as a whole, It will give us a deeper understanding and concepts on how to have a
characteristic way of acting. Although we are given freedom, We should first consider the consequences and reflect
on how it affects ourselves and someone if it would bring out good. In my point of view, once we acquire the
knowledge and wisdom and apply it in ourselves. Furthermore, as many people understand its essence it will help us
to live a better and purposeful life.

Hello! Have a good day ahead for whoever is reading this. I'm grateful for this opportunity. Through this, I
will be able to express and introduce myself. My Name is Joshua, I'm taking psychology major and I'm from BSP-1B.
Nineteen years of age and turning twenty this year. I'm supposed to be a second-year in college now but there is
some reason behind that. Even if that's the case I don't have any regrets since I used that time to learn stuff. To be
honest, taking the course I've chosen wasn't my first choice. Although, I found out there is something significant I can
learn from and It's adaptable to any career path that I'm going to take. I do hope this subject would help me to
understand myself and others.
