Item 2: Describe how Forces and Newton’s Laws of Motion can be applied to your course or to Medical and
Health sciences.

Answer:
The three laws of motion, which are the relationships between forces acting on a body and motions
in our bodies, were formulated by Isaac Newton. These rules are crucial to understand since they form the
foundation of mechanics. Mechanics, as we all know, is one of the fields of physics that studies how move
in relation to the forces acting on them objects. We use mechanics in every activity we undertake every
day, such as making coffee in the morning, washing dishes, and showering, without even realizing it. Force,
on the other hand, is a push or pull that operates on an object as a result of its interactions with its
environment. Newton simplified objects by formulating his three laws, which reduced them to mathematical
points with no size or rotation, allowing him to ignore variables like friction, air resistance, temperature, and
material properties and focus on results that could be demonstrated completely in terms of mass, length,
and time. As a result, if we employ forces and laws of motion in our daily lives, we can apply them to the
medical area and healthcare.
The practice of biomechanics, such as locomotion or the human gait, by examining the late swing phase
and the forces traveling forward with the lower extremities of the body, is a good example of how forces
and Newton's Law of Motion apply to medicine. Biomechanics is the scientific term for the movement of our
bodies. It's also known as biological mechanics, which studies forces and motion in our bodies. Specialists
or doctors study biomechanics to better understand the impact of forces and motions on biological
structures in the human body and creatures. Medical and health sciences will be incomplete without forces
and laws of motion in order to provide better therapy to all of us.
Even if there are essentially no muscles active that bring an extremity forward just prior to the heel-strike, it
is still moving forward in space, as the law of inertia dictates. Another example is how every static and
dynamic movement seen in the science of biomechanics is founded on the principle of forces. Muscles are
the connective tissues that contract and exert force on the bones of the body. Force can be utilized to
interpret the motion that any human movement can produce. You can begin to determine the force required
to prevent or induce movement by computing the acceleration of gravity and the mass of the head.
