GENERAL STAFF QUALITATIVE REQUIREMENT FOR X RAY SYSTEM

1. INTRODUCTION
A X Ray system is used for “On Site” examination of suspected objects without
applying hand/remote entry technique. The X Ray imagers provide a real time
viewing of the underlying mechanism, allowing the technician to have more
information of the IED and taking better decision for applying the RSP. The X Ray
device can detect contents of closed/concealed object without disturbing it.The
detector must possess the ability to give an account of contents inside a suspected
metal/plastic cased object and the capability to penetrate adequate thickness.

2. AIM

To lay down General Staff Qualitative Requirement for X Ray Equipment.
