ABSTRACT

The study focused on Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Government College

Proposed Security Plan particularly in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur for the school
year 2019-2020.The exploratory research design in qualitative approach and
questionnaires were employed in this study. Experts were interviewed to
evaluate the structures and facilities of the proposed security plan. Thematic
analysis was used to consolidate the data gathered. The findings revealed that
the hazards or threats that can happen in the area can be categorized as Natural
Hazards and Human-Caused Hazards. The emergency evacuation procedures
and routes and support for persons with disabilities are established. The findings
concluded that emergency security plan should follow standard regulations to
prevent risk and likelihood. The hazards or threats were identified and
established emergency evacuation procedures were discussed. All staffs are
required to know the procedures and on how to operate the utility shutoffs.
Further, the building standards of the location shall follow according to
Presidential Decree No. 1096. Proposed evacuation building should obtain
building permit and provide basic requirements for building structures.
