CASE STUDY

Saheed inherited $10,000 from his father and is thinking of setting of an internet cafe to
target students in his home village .There is a large population of students in Saheed's
Village Who depends on the used of internet to do their research. However, due to the
absence of such facilities in Saheed’s village, students are forced to travel to other villagers to
access the internet. In order to attract the students to his business, saheed plans to offer his
service at a reduced cost .saheed believes that this marketing strategy would allow him to
benefit from my high volume of business.
Unfortunately, Saheed's inheritance is in adequate to start up the venture .in an Efforts to
establish the venture, Saheed has approached a local commercial bank for the additional
funds. The bank has requested that is a saheed prepare a business plan that should include a
business model.
1. EXPLAIN any THREE components of a business model.
Three components of a business model are:
Value proposition which composes the core of its business model; it includes
everything it offers its customers in a specific market, customer relationships is the
relationships that a business has with its customers and the way in which it treats
them. , key resources is the building block describing the most important assets
needed to make a business model work. 
2. Based on the case above, explain what Saheed's value proposition is.
Saheed’s value proposition is setting up a cost efficient internet café so student can
use it to do their research.
3. Identify the SIX key components of the business plan for Saheed's benefits.
 The Six key components of a business plan for Saheed’s benefit are:
 Industry & Competition.
 Business Revenue Model.
 Marketing Plan.
 Management Team.
 Cash Requirements.

The purpose of conducting market research is that market research allows the
company to discover the target market and get opinions and other feedback from
consumers about their interest in the product or service.
