PRODUCT : FALCOMER-5010 (HOMO-POLYMER EMULSION)

FALCOMER-5010 is a poly vinyl acetate homo-polymer emulsion free of plasticizer suitable in variety of adhesive
applications, such as wood glue, paper, carton sealing, cigarettes, textile, ceiling adhesive and building
construction industry. It dries to transparent clear film and it is low in odor, and non- flammable.

Uses:
Non-Plasticized Polyvinyl Acetate as a base Homo-polymer emulsion suitable for formulating different kind of
adhesive such as many types of wood and paper glues. Also it can be used as it is in special cases. It is compatible
with most usual solvents, biocides, deformers, & plasticizers that are used in formulation of adhesives.

Typical Product Characteristic:

Appearance : Milky White emulsion
Dry Film : Transparent/clear
Composition type : Polyvinyl Acetate Homo-Polymer emulsion.
Solid Content (%) : 50% +/- 2% (At 120 OC for 60 Minutes)
pH at 30 CO : 4.5 – 5.5
Viscosity at 30O C : 80,000 to 120,000 cps-(Brookfield RVT DV II- SP: NO: 7/ RPM 20)

Notes:
1. Store in sealed containers in dry conditions at temperature between 15 to 40OC away from direct heat,
sunlight, dust, and moisture.
2. Higher temperature may cause skin/crust formation especially if the containers are not tightly closed or
subjected to direct sunlight for a long period.

Shelf Life:
Shelf life of 12 months provided the containers once opened must be closed properly to prevent contamination.
As usual with such adhesives, protect from extremes of heat and cold. Do not store in open and rotate stock, using
first in first out basis (FIFO).

Storage:
Keep away from direct sunlight/moisture in sealed container. Protect from frost and store the container in a cool
and dry place.

Packing:
150 or 220 kg net in R/C HDPE plastic open top drum or in 200 kg metal open top R/C drum with poly inner
liner inside.

FALCOMER-5010 is water based and therefore has no unusual fire or health hazards. It is non-toxic and non-
flammable. However, good industrial practice must be followed. Do not swallow. Avoid repeated and prolonged
contact with sensitive skin. In case of accidental contact with eyes, wash with large quantities of water for 5-10
minutes, and obtain medical attention.
